He’s alright. Probably the best of the bunch after Paterson in those 2 advanced midfield roles. Certainly better than the likes of Korey, Cullen and Dhanda in that position. I can certainly see where his inconsistent and frustrating tags come from though.

I just find it frustrating watching him because there's a real player in there & we're not getting the best out of him.

I just think he's one of a number of players we have who would look even more effective if we moved the ball more quickly more often. Wolf is another. Obafemi too.
True, playing at too slow a tempo has been a criticism you could level at Swans teams for years. Potter's team was guilty of the same thing.

There were signs of improvement under Potter but he didn't hang around to stick the landing.

The Dan James option helped in that respect. We've spent years accumulating a squad with no real pace in it.
Recruitment under Cooper just made it worse.
