• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

And if so, cheese on top, or beans on top?

Cheese on top of Beans on Toast is a must, no Cheese no Beans on Toast in this house.

JP with Cheese and Beans is the same, a portion of coleslaw and or a spoonful of Branston Pickle is a thing of beauty, bar none :D

Nice with chilli too 😋

Nah, JP, Cheese and Beans every time for me, the Cafe opposite the Fendrod Lake car park is worth a visit for a Jacket Potato, its very popular, they've altered the Lighting Shop now to accommodate more table's and they do events there now as well.

No, never melted on top, IMHO it just downgrades the great flavour of cheese. I do love cheese, but I would never add it to beans on toast.

Pepper on it, any type, not too much though, spoils the beans

I have never had it, I can't say I dislike it. But just never used it, that reminds me, went out tonight, and had a taste of a meal, I couldn't believe it, I actually like mustard, now I have never tried it before, but yet when asking what was this, I was told it's mustard!! Could have knocked me down with a feather, next time I go out, I'm going to buy a jar of it.

There’s mustard and there’s mustard.

It was served with one of those dirty fries kind of dish, I must have had it numerous times over the years, and I really like the flavour.
