Piroe starts so nothing imminent at the moment by the looks. But I’ll stand by my OP, work going on behind scenes.

Another six weeks of window innit? He will be gone b4 it shuts.

Without doubt.

He wants to go. It’s just about us getting a good enough fee.

Teams will be mental not to put a bid in for this guy, he's surely gone in the next week

15 million should do it , no point holding out for more and ending up with him staying and being unhappy and having a bad season

He seems very happy and excited judging by his interview on the OS

I’d be gutted if it was for that amount.

Why would he have a bad season? He will be the same player, I doubt very much he would down tools as that wouldn’t help his cause. He’ll be fine.

Not being funny, but Piroe is both a creator and a goalscorer in one. Even if we sold him for £30m there is absolutely no guarantee that we would get someone in who has the same level of impact as he does.

Having Piroe might well be the difference between taking a stab at top six and mid table mediocrity.

Yes that's possible but not all players are as professional as harry Kane and can keep to a level when denied a move that they want , its just logic that a player and his agent won't be happy if they are denied a move doubling the players wages , it's also a big risk for a club needing to raise 20 million at the end of every season just to stay financially viable , one bad injury and his value has gone , hope I'm wring and your right and he stays and scores 30 goals this season

I don’t see that happening with Piroe, it seems a tight knit changing room and he won’t throw his friends under a bus.

The Downes deal has more than likely strengthened our bargaining position but the articles a few weeks back “piroe being priced out of a move” are all from his side. I’m pretty sure his old man is his agent.

Parrott off to Preston by the looks so won't be Piroe's replacement.

Considering a bid. Is that any different to Leicester making an inquiry? If he goes I wish him well and we get a decent return on our investment.

I'm glad the rumour merchants are pushing the line of 'we hope to keep PIroe, but will reluctantly sell if the price is right'. It's clearly nonsense, but is the line we want to push to hopefully maximise the sale price, although I think only a bidding war like with Downes will achieve that.

I'm sure the reality is that the club are desperate to sell him and have the champagne on ice.

"Freelance journalist".

There's a lot of them about peddling rumours. Occasionally they are right, but only in the same way a stopped clock is.

You think we should be turning down £30m just so we can "take a stab at top six"??

Anything over £15m and he will be gone. And rightly so.
