• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I liked Sir John and anyone remember that fella who went to sing in Nashville?
I met him once down the stadium when his son was a mascot, his son was a big lad for his age and was wearing an adult shirt with the betting company across the from.
The commercial department had a full panic on. 😂😂😂

I remember him, can’t remember his screen name though.

I haven’t seen Max posting on here for a few weeks. Hope all is good if you’re looking in.

Quality poster, always came across as a sensible and nice guy.

He used to have a fair bit of grief off OHL on the other site.

Kinsey? Massive glory hunter and diehard-tryhard that disappeared as soon as we were relegated
I'm sure he committed some form of crime, ended up in Wales online and spent some time inside.

What became of Dicky Thorpe? I miss him.
I miss Dicky as well. We used to dm each other once in a while. About 2 weeks after he stopped posting I dm'd him to ask if he was alright and he responded by saying that his life was really busy at the time and he didn't want to spend any time on a chat room anymore. Sad. I enjoy coming on here a few times a week..I recall Dicky used to live in Carmarthen, and I think he worked at Castell Howell.
