I'm not going to offend anyone I hope here but there are a few names of the past I want to think of as we head into the final few days of the forum
Starting with the people who these boards are named after
Lord Bony - I will never forget the way he stood up to his illness, if that ever hits me then I want to meet it in the head way. We all learned a lot from him and calling these forums the Lord Bony stand felt right and true
Blaze - I still couldn't get my head around the post that said he had gone. A guy of so many talents and a knowledge of so many other things.
We had Davillin and Ebo - both long term posters of this site and both contributed so much. I disagreed with them many times but we shared the common passion of Swansea City and that means that disagreements on other things just pass you by. Davillin I met a few times on his travels over here over the years, we should always remember he took an interest in the Swans because of the internet and we played a part in that.
I often wonder what happened to StadmaD after the Tsunami. He was mad as a box of frogs but bought life to the forums and I hope somewhere he is still OK and watching Moansfield. Oxoman not so briliant but still fun nonetheless, I wonder if he came to Swansea to watch Oxford these past two seasons!
There are so many Jacks that disappeared over the years and I always wish we had an archive of every single post on this site - the time we could spend reading them would be brilliant and, dare I say it, there would be a book in there. Probably one used in therapy sessions around the world somewhere!
Over the years there have also been a multitude of people who helped with this site - way too many to mention. We did have a "staff" day (the only one) at the Vetch on the last weekend where we shared a table with the personality that was Andy Gurney. I wonder what happened to him!
There are so many that I will have missed here though - who are your blasts from the past?
