• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I wouldn't be so sure.

The write up for this fella on the main site makes it sound like Notts County's success is purely down to him.

Let's hope he makes a difference, whatever his responsibilities.

Coleman has form for trying to bring in people to replicate success elsewhere: Paul Watson to recreate the Luton pathway to the Premier League. That was a disaster. Now we're going to replicate Notts County's 'success' by nicking one of their guys.

Hopefully it works this time, but I can't say I have my hopes up at this point. But it's important to give him a chance. He's new; I'm sure he has good intentions and something about him, so I wish him all the best.

Not sure their “success” is much to write home about. Promotion from the National League to League two with one of the top budgets in that league and a few seasons near the top of League Two without further promotion to date.

Going from non league after 4 years in that division to sitting second in league two is pretty successful.
If you fancy recruiting league 2 players, I suppose so. My Miwaw mate thinks Longstaff is one of the biggest piles of shit he's ever seen. Let's hope his data does ' championship'

You're spot on about giving him a chance.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Coleman gets this one right 🤞🏼

Whilst competing with Wrexham and Stockport in one of the toughest leagues to get promoted from.

I'd say they'd been pretty successful over the last few years.

Having money doesn't always guarantee success.

What gives you the impression that we are going to be recruiting league two players?

Langstaff not being a success in the Championship shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. There's a reason why only Millwall came in for him.

He means that he was getting L2 players for non league Notts County. But will he be able to get better level players for us. I think.

I'm all up for giving the fella a chance.

Let's at least give him the opportunity to start his new role before writing him off.
