Surely we don’t intend to go into the season with Latibeaudiere as our RWB!?!

Hopefully not. I had a feeling after we got more funds than expected for Downes we would splash out on Ogbene but doesn’t look like it.

Looks like we are going to start the season with a back 4. Lati at full back is better than an attacking wing back but its still far from ideal.

We started the second friendly game against Bristol Rovers with Garrick operating at right wingback it seems.

It is definitely an area of concern though

A supposed ITK account on twitter is saying we’ve agreed a fee for Ogbene, we’ll have to see if that’s correct or not

I wouldn’t trust them fake journo accounts with 80 followers, would be nice if we did bring him in however, he’s on the same agency as Joe Allen and liked a post when Joe was announced back here.

Not sure what the fuss in Ogbene is all about… why are our fans so obsessed with him?

Is he any better than Garrick? Does he fit as a RWB?

Winger by trade but played RWB last season. Would suit both possible formations. Not many linked at that position is why I think he's been talked about so much.

Never convinced Garrick is a right wing back full stop.

I am surprised at the appetite to renew Lats contract. He's a decent footballer and clearly highly thought of but a wing back he is not. If we consider him one of our best CB's then yes, renew, otherwise we need to make room for a 'proper' wing back. Its horrific watching him plod up and down the wing, duck out of water for such a critical position in RM's plan.

Difficult to disagree

Lati is a better option than Sorinola.

The latter needs to bulk up, quickly aswell.

I'm going to guess you are probably a better option than Sorinola mind!

Only thing I would disagree with is the WTF phrase "duck out of water"???

Ducks are absolutely fine out of water.

Can’t blame Lat for being played out of position but it sticks out like a sore thumb & Sorinola shouldn’t even be in the match day squads .

Both A weakness of Russel .
