Sweet. Just found out the game is on Paramount+ plus over here.

I get an annual subscription free with my Walmart+ subscription, 98 bucks a year total for both.

They have the Championship too so I get to watch 30 Swans games per season with that.

They show 8 out of the 12 championship games each game week
That's quite good for you, enjoy!

I think they thought PL team at home, there'll be massive demand. They neglected to consider kids being back in school combined with a late kick off, it's on TV, Forest are a PL team but not a big draw, they won't be playing their first choice players, still the early rounds of the competition, etc.

Hopefully they learn from this. I love the idea of including home cup games in season tickets, but can't see them going that far. Same prices as last two games should definitely be the plan next time.
I agree. I think that’s exactly what they thought.

A bit worrying though.

The reality is, in my opinion, people are absolutely saturated with PL football. It’s on tv almost constantly, everyone sees the premier league several times every week if they want to, and, to be frank, people are just apathetic about the premier league teams outside perhaps half a dozen of them.

I can’t be the only person who’s gone from regularly watching PL games to hardly ever watching PL games. I simply don’t care.

Not too long ago I wouldn’t have dreamed of missing a cup game against a team like Forest in the third round of the cup. I can honestly say it hasn’t even crossed my mind to travel 400 miles round trip tomorrow evening. I will, of course, watch it on Sky, but that’s half the problem. I know it will always be on TV.

I agree they probably won’t bring in free games as part of the season ticket again. But even if they did get a free ticket for season tickets holders if they bring one non season ticket holder with them (so half price effectively on whatever the ticket price is. And it shouldn’t be £20).
