S25/26 | The MATCHDAY Thread | Leicester 0 Swansea 1 | FT | The EFL Championship | The King Power Stadium

Talk of Vip, Eom, Parker, Widdel…what about Vig? keeping us in games on his own, great save today one of many over the last several games.
3rd most clean sheets in the league. Whoever signed off on him deserves a huge amount of credit - in part Luke Williams as he’d worked with him before I’d imagine.

I think his age counts in our favour. If he was playing like he has for us in his early/mid 20s he’d easily be playing games at PL level. No reason we can’t get at least another 3-4 seasons out of him.

Always had a soft spot for our keepers and Roger & Fabianski are two of my favourite players of all time. He’s heading towards that sort of consistency.

First things first nearly an hourly get to the M69 after leaving the ground and just over half an hour to get home from there.
Strange game I thought we did well in the first half closing down and offering some attacks with a bit of psce.
Stood up to some clinical fouling many went unpunished by the referee.
Second half we had a couple of good chances and the the goal. I was screaming for Eom to pass but he kept going and then another thunderbolt shot from VP.
A bit anxious for the last 10 moment we held firm helped by some poor touches from Leicester.
Others have mentioned individuals which I can understand but thought it was a good team display

Let's be honest, Eom picking that stray pass from just outside his own box, running 70 yards, avoiding five or six desperate challenges, keeping his composure, then seeing a run outside the full-back for the Championship's top scorer to score with aplomb, would easily make the headlines in most inferior top-division leagues in Europe.
Be thankful for what we have.

Missed the game completely, great win.
Only seen the highlights, looks like Vigs saved us on a few occasions. Was it comfortable or backs to the wall type stuff. Anyways nice 3 points 💪🙂👍

For me not getting enough praise. Everyone including myself are quick to pick faults in players. Yes Eom has been hot and cold. But I have been saying it for a while. There is a player there. He was brilliant today. And that run from him dare I say was more harder the the Dan James Goal. Eom the way he ran with it and controlled it with so many players around him then picked the pass was just brilliant.

Don't worry mate, this time last year most had written off Zan Vipotnik.
