• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Speaks volumes about so many things.

Birmingham lost last 3 games including Port Vale at home, dreadful form but a recognised, respected playing style and identity.

Despite us sitting in 7th to their lowly 11th, and despite our smash n grab against (an albeit poor) Forest on the night, the proper itks still expect us to lose.

Speaks volumes about our lack of true playing identity - nobody knows what version of our immensely talented, richly assembled, top quartile, massive squad is turning up.

And for that reason, just like the majority of proper Swans fans’ predictions : 3-1 Brum.
Fuck off you sad little bluebird

Missing this one to watch our beloved Los Boquerones smash the Cadiz scum.
Just like our squinty eyed poorer relations the Cadizians are the laughing stock, reviled and ridiculed by all of Spain - heck their name looks n sounds like Cadiff.

Uppa Swans (2-1) and Uppa Los Boquerones (2-1)
Since when have you been a malaguista?

Seeing Stamenic is a huge boost, one I wasn’t expecting. And look at that bench, since when have we had such depth?

That last game was a belter. BIrmingham will be low on form and hopefully make mistakes. The Hull game showed how we can struggle to close out teams and both Hull and Forest got a lot of chances and breaks. I can see this being a cagey affair until the last 30 minutes or so. SCFC to win by one goal.

What a deliciously sumptuous feast of football we put on, on Wednesday against Forest.

Needless to say that I was over the moon in triplicate when the winning goal from Burgess went in.

Shades of the second leg of the playoff semifinal against them who, for all of the millions that have been pumped into their squad, they didn’t exactly pull up any trees on the night.

So, onto today’s proceedings, and I get the feeling that the wind is definitely building in the sails of HMS Swansea City and we’re nigh on ready to set sail into playoff territory, maybe even the automatics.

Whatever happens, it will be a great game to watch. COYS.
