• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

That's harsh on Eom. He's not started the season well and is almost certainly not going to be the player we hoped he would be, but suggesting playing a teenage fullback as a winger ahead of him is silly. He had a good game against Forest, his clever ball to Cullen played a major part in the goal.

Ronald has 4 goals so far this season, so he's not getting dropped right now. If Benson gets up to full fitness and stays fit, he could definitely challenge Ronald for the starting spot. Right now, having Ronald and Inoussa to start, with Benson and Eom to come on against tired defenders is a luxury we haven't had in a long time.
I thought Eom was good against Forest.

Birmingham odds on favourites at the bookies
Speaks volumes about so many things.

Birmingham lost last 3 games including Port Vale at home, dreadful form but a recognised, respected playing style and identity.

Despite us sitting in 7th to their lowly 11th, and despite our smash n grab against (an albeit poor) Forest on the night, the proper itks still expect us to lose.

Speaks volumes about our lack of true playing identity - nobody knows what version of our immensely talented, richly assembled, top quartile, massive squad is turning up.

And for that reason, just like the majority of proper Swans fans’ predictions : 3-1 Brum.

As AS said.. its about consistency in our performances. So today could be any result but hopefully form and momentum is with us.
yes i am just hoping this game is not the one after the lord mares show you are correct that its the consistency element that in the past has been missing, we need 100%plus effort and 200% concentration today
safe travel to one and all

The third game in a week seems to have been a bit of an Achilles heel over the last few years. Might not actually be backed up by the stats, but the eyes and memory test makes me think we’ve dropped off in terms of performance and results.

Hopefully the increased squad depth will mean it’s less of an issue this season and we get some positive impact from the bench today!

Any injury update on Stamenic?
