Surely you cant be suggesting that the teams with the most points end up in the top 6? Scandalous!!!If any team get some consistent performances together, they could quite easily get in the top 6

Well you wrote a post implying that he hadn’t made any assists. Can’t you see why you are being challenged?Moments like that are the reason I like him.
We played brilliantly for 4 years? When was this??Yup.
We had to put up with the best part of 4 years of that bullshit. The pass masters who would win the possession percentages but lose the match.
Not any more. And thank goodness.
Winger in the sense of the bloke going down the wing and crossing the ball.It wasn’t his winger
Benson will be better on another day. We need to settle on a 10 and then let the team settle. Both starting wingers and starting CF need to gas themselves and be replaced on 50-55.On any other day I would agree with this. And pretty much do 99% of it. But Sheehan got it all wrong in the first half. Really poor. Think he has realised Benson is not a starter and we need Yalcouye.
Yeah, that may be it.I think Stamenic has shrunk back (in effectiveness) which has made Galbraiths job a lot harder . We need Stamenic to bring the ball forward more and start causing set midfields problems.
Why? Inoussa is clearly a massive upgrade. He was pretty bad trying to stop crosses tonight. He has gotten stronger and seen him perform better, but I do think he is a player who needs to play more regular and starting matches.
You can argue all day long whether that was a penalty - for my money it was. What is absolutely for sure though is time after time those types of decisions have gone against us away from home from referees who see it in actual time (not slo-mo).I thought the same. Not sure if his legs got tangled? A tad.
It might be nice to give the right back slot to Galbraith for a game or two - we can always bring key on and move him back into midfield if we need to.Yeah, that may be it.
He hasn’t seemed as sharp as he was doing.
To be honest, I just think it’s the combo in midfield that’s not working. Any three of Franco, Galbraith, Stamenic and Yalcouye is just too similar. And creates the issues in joining up front and back.
As I said on Saturday, I’d honestly give it a go with Galbraith at right back, two of the three left and a number 10. Cullen, Widell, Eom maybe.
It’s nice that we’re still discussing formations, not really clicking etc while we’re handily poised in the table, much harder to so it when you’re struggling at the bottom.
I’d argue that Key’s primary function is to defend and he hasn’t started the season brilliantly. It’s is Eom’s secondary function to defend and it’s not the sub to make if you want to defend. Eom was brought on to push B’burn defenders back and it worked.Im a fan of Eom, but his defensive side is as poor as Key at times.

The Blackburn commentator made the point that their player hadn’t been able to push on since Eom came on.I’d argue that Key’s primary function is to defend and he hasn’t started the season brilliantly. Personally I think consistent performances are a cornerstone of any good side, teams that get promoted generally create more chances than we are at the moment. It’s all about sustainability for me. The results are decent enough now and we can all be happy with our place in the table but what happens when Vipi misplaces his shooting boots? We won’t be able to coast on 2,3 shots on target a game. At least if we’re performing consistently and creating more, we won’t have to rely purely on being clinical. We want to play well and win of course, but performances absolutely do not matter more than place in the table. What would be the point of playing brilliantly and losing every game?
After the abject and cowardly refereeing we were on the wrong end of vs Hull and Millwall, not to mention having a goal wrongly disallowed at Brum, I could not agree more. You can argue all day long whether that was a penalty - for my money it was. What is absolutely for sure though is time after time those types of decisions have gone against us away from home from referees who see it in actual time (not slo-mo).
We were overdue a refereeing break - and in my opinion tonight we got one!
