• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I think we've had more dangerous attacks than we usually do and that last one sums up that it's not bouncing for us.
However, Bristol need two attacks to score a goal because we're defensively clueless.
I agree.that a few times the bounce has gone our way but it's mostly down to our players being static and flatfooted.

We've created enough chances to be at least level, but our finishing has been appalling.

Idah, underwhelming again. Cullen is dreadful. Eom on the fringes as per. Key and Ronald have got to be one of the worst right flanks in the Championship. Absolutely hopeless. Key can't defend or attack, Ronald final ball is useless.

Matos has his work cut out trying to weave this lot into anything resembling a goal threat.
I thought Idah was alright. Eom too. Key dreadful. Cullen is Cullen.

Eom does what he always does , like Ronald - get the ball in a promising position and lose it. Both were from the previous intake and are offering NOTHING .
Cullen running around like a headless chicken and pointing a lot.
But key needs to go into the u 31’s before we can offload him - playing left back when they twice threatened down our right flank leading to the second goal. He’s fallen over, been easily pushed off the ball and looks WAY out of his depth. The only good thing apart from only being 12 down is the hard tackling we’ve done, actually shown our teeth.
Key in the u31s and 12-0 down! What the fuck is going on!!

It's weird, I'm not watching the game and BBC Sport's live thread is crediting Key for creating almost every decent chance we've had, yet everyone here watching has said he's been shit?
His first job is to defend. Secondly if he’s gone up the pitch he’s more often left us in trouble. Ronald isnt going to help he’s just as bad. Worst right side we’ve had for years. The left is just as appalling - a decent side would be 4 up by now.
Sadly I’m sitting here in the cold watching this with 2499 others. No decent manager will want to come to this car crash.
Get Widdell on for the shite Cullen , Inoussa on for the shite Eom and persuade someone else to play on the right. We may keep the score down then and maybe even score one .

At the match, wish I wasn't. Same old, same old. Better side technically but absolutely appalling in the final third, and slack defending at crucial moments. Ronald can't cross to save his life, every forward totally shit at shooting on target.
I don't envy the new manager.

I think they are far better technically and keep the ball much better. And they attack cutting through us easily
