S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Coventry 1 Swansea 0 | Att: 30,139 | Boxing Day | The EFL Championship | The CBS Arena

A note on this. My family live less than fifteen minutes from Cov's ground - I worked the Ricoh for a few years whilst in college - and me and my brother go every year as he's a Cov fan. Despite being in Coventry on boxing game, neither of us are going this year due to the astronomical prices they're charging away fans. Prices below..

Adults - £45
18-21 - £40
Senior Citizens - £40
Under 18 - £35

Beyond words.
I know they are having a decent season for once but you’d think they morphed into Man City FFS

They have definitely dipped a bit in recent weeks. They will look at us and think it's a nice game to get back on track. We should be going there with the attitude we want to piss them off and annoy the home crowd. It's a decent time to be playing them. Let's give it everything we've got.
They are expected to win and batter us so the pressure is all on them. A point would be amazing a win probably makes every ones Christmas and Easter and all other feasts in between. If Matos makes it clear that expectation is all on Coventry and we could catch them with their pants down and be the first team to win there all season. For those of a certain age who were in Northampton in 1987 when they were unbeaten all season - remember that last minute winner from Colin Pascoe (or was it Ian Love or Sean McCarthy)?

Looking at the form guide we have actually outscored Coventry over the past six games which considering how they started the season is cause for optimism. Hopefully we can take our home forward into our away games a little, even a draw will be a great result away at the league leaders.

Would not be surprised if Stamenic leaves one on Grimes, he does like to let certain players know he is on the pitch.
That is why Stamenic should play at 8. He’s a menace and have Grimes shitting his pants. The Fulton on for an all out assault on him in the last ten.

Does anyone know if there are any tickets left for this one? Not available online clearly, have we sold out our allocation or have some been sent back to Cov?
First game in the memory of my old man who passed this week, we’ve been jacks for 35 years and being there would be a fitting tribute.
I’m only an hour away from Coventry and the chance to go has come up. Does anyone know how I can get my mits on one of the unsold extortionately priced tickets? I’ve tried both the Coventry and swans ticket offices with no luck.
Surely there’s a way, seems daft that there are seats available and no way to get a ticket.

Pressure Grimes and he will be shite, he’s so one footed I don’t think I ever saw him use his right foot at any time to pass the ball, would always look to change to his left foot.

Although some fans insanely place him on a pedestal I thought he shortchanged us here. Lazy and unaccountable I hope our players remember this and go after him from the outset .

We've seen Grimes for missing many times when under pressure.

If they have Lati and Bidwell in defence we have every chance of exploiting that. Big game from Inoussa today I think.

The RB decision will be crucial.. do we give Asante the freedom against Key or play Galbraith there and push Asante deeper.

Ronald or Inoussa against Bidwell needs to come off and get Vippy chances in the box.

If Eom starts he needs to stand up physically and also get crosses in.

I think we will go with Stemenic and Franco with possibly Yalcouye to start with options to bring on Cullen and Widdel if we are chasing the game.

Cabango and Burgess need to be switched on and organised and Vigs needs good distribution from the back.

It's a big ask for us let's hope we don't concede early and get their crowd jumping.

It's the day for big Cam to score a league goal at the right end and for us to all see why we were happy to see Grimes gone.
Let's hope so anyway.
