S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Coventry 1 Swansea 0 | Att: 30,139 | Boxing Day | The EFL Championship | The CBS Arena

It's getting frustrating 2 great away performances against Stoke and Coventry where we should have had at least a point but we have 3 players (Franco, Burgess and Ronald) just insistent on ruining whatever chance we have.

I would agree with everything other than wingers. Ronald and Inoussa didn't do to bad. Eom was crap. Would like to see Yalcouye instead of Franco and Widell needs to start.
Yep. Need inoussa and eom on the wings with stamenic, yalcouye and widdel as the midfield three

Better side over 90 minutes, but when you have such pitiful attacking players as we have you are unlikely to get anything out of games with tight margins like that. A side with decent forward players probably wins that 1-2 or 1-3 with the chances we had, but that's all a bit 'if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle' isn't it.

Hopefully we can produce a similar performance, but be able to hit a barn door next time out.
Yeah, it doesn’t matter how tidy we look between the boxes. Games aren’t won or lost there. And unless you’re solid as a rock (e.g. Burnley last year), you have to be able to score freely to challenge at the top.

We’ve got a platform to build on, so that’s something at least.

I know it doesn't mean much, but it's far better than what was under Sheehan. We would of lost that game by 4 goals if he was in charge. And we are showing improvements. Performance was there and you can build on that.

Ron and inoussa, choosing to shoot wrong decisions on more than 1 occasion , hopefully the new coaching staff can help with decisions in vital areas, otherwise a more than decent performance worthy of a point on another day

That's the first game under matos I think where we've had less than 6/7 shots in target. Miles away form the crap under sheehan

Our away from is a big concern, we should have come away with something from today and Stoke.
Every point is important.

We absolutely have to fix the RB position in January. As well as stabilising the right of defence, it will also bring improvement to the midfield. Add a winger, as ours are pretty crap, and we will be fine. Fail to do this and it will be a long second half of season spent looking over our shoulder.

It’s why we can’t be too disappointed, performances always lead to results and we’re performing well enough at the moment, although we could be a bit better in the final 3rd still. We keep performing as we are and we’ll beat enough teams to stay in this division. I feel a decent result is on the horizon for us.

Absolutely no blame for Matos from me he got it spot on today thought his subs was good and we were well structured with an clear game plan.

Stoke Wrexham Cov have been good performances and we've only come away with 3 points where we could have come away with 5/6.

However, we need 4 points from the next 2 games because we have to be aware of the position we are in at the moment. Unfortunately we wasted 6 months on a manager which should never have been in his job so as refreshing as it is to see good performances we need points to go along with it.
