• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I'm slightly more nervous today for this. As its a big one. We could shoot up the tabel with the win and build our confidence with being the worse team in the division for away wins... Gulp... We will control the game as Derby have the lowest possession stats in the division. Just need to kill them off as they have a bad record at home.

Former Swan Josh Vickers in goal for them. Didn’t realise he was with Derby

Derby playing 3 strikers ...should be midfield gaps for us to exploit. Hope we can handle the transition and long balls

There was a pre-season game in Germany(?) and the guy doing the commentary (obviously not a swan) kept calling him Ackers.

Cullen is my only surprise in that lineup. I feel that games often drift him by, would love to be proven wrong though
That said, when you look at that bench that we got it is packed with game changing players

Yalcouye, Nunes, Key, Ward, Widell, Walta, Fulton, Samuel-Smith, Fisher

That is arguably the strongest bench we have had for four or five years

It is indeed a pretty fearsome front line, however on the other hand neither of those two wingers want to be doing defensive duties so there will be opportunities to isolate full backs against our own wingers
