S25/26| The Official Match Thread | Derby 2 Swansea 0 | Att: 27,841 | 14/02/26 | The EFL Championship | Pride Park Stadium

I've learnt I'm over sensitive, today.

Everyday is learning day 🤷🏻
Clearly over sensitive otherwise you wouldn't be going on about it 👌

Saying that, I have been called a bully and then the same person questioned my personal life!
I'm certainly sensitive about that post because it's personal.

God people are having some meltdowns. Yes it was a poor game and it clearly wasn’t our day, that ref very much didn’t help. But that’s football, we move on and look to the next game.
Just one of those days, Flashy.

Can't wait for a packed house next week end when we batter the Wurzels.

I'm not going to over-react. Our flaws make us what we are, a midtable side, but we're making some progress. I'm not sure any coach can make us deadly in the final third, you've either got it or you haven't. Onwards and upwards.
👍👍

You’ve got a bit of obsession with Smurph haven’t you?

Anyone got a good lawyer? This feud has gone on too long it's like watching 90s football teams.. All blood and guts. Hand shakes needed I think 👌 👌 👌

I'm not interested in the slightest.

Think there’s an added level of disappointment to the fact that if we’d have won today, we’d have equalled Derby for points and been closer to the play offs with two home games coming up. Missed opportunity. Eustace is a shrewd manager and can play stifling Warnock ball with the best of them when he wants to. I haven’t seen any of it but wouldn’t be too down.

I personally don’t feel we’re ready for play offs anyway but I don’t think it’s over yet. If we get 6 from the next two I think we’ll still be in with a shout.

A very frustrating performance.
Dominated the first half without being a threat.
Second half giving away a poor goal which allowed the initiative to change.
A second from man mountain and the game was gone.
We tried to play too many intricate passes instead of opening the play up.
Wrong options on many occasions but another game that showed there is nothing in this division apart from a few teams.

Meh. A very Swansea City day today. Slow passing among ourselves in our own half in injury time when we're 2 down was the chef's kiss there. Just too slow all round today, not enough desire. The frustrating thing is we look a good team in general until we get in the final 3rd and we turn to cowards who can't cross or hit a cow's arse.

Before today, I'd have taken 6 points from the next 3 games to remain in the play-off hunt. Today was probably the toughest of those 3, so hopefully we can move on, but puts a lot of pressure on next week

I thought Derby gave a good example of how to beat teams that employ a high press and lots of energy.

Sit further back, allow us to pass it about between us, never allow us quick turnovers or space behind and rely on our wingers being unable to find a good enough ball to really hurt them.

We got frustrated, huffed and puffed, lost our shape and composure a bit and ran out of ideas.

It is what it is. We all know we lack real quality out wide and creativity in the middle.

No need to start to panic - we are not at the top six level as yet. We need some better players in certain positions. That’s not a surprise.

The only slight disappointment for me is that we were so poor at defending corners. They could easily have had another in exactly the same way.

Let’s hope not too many teams do the same against us.

2 games coming up where we need a response. I agree that we are not ready for the top 6 and would even argue that we are not quite top 10 quality.
The league is poor which does offer a dangle of a carrot now and again.
