• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

His decisions are generally poor. That’s what should and probably will do for him. There’s no learning happening.

I still fancy 2-2. Is that insanity kicking in?
I think we've swapped personalities

Investing heavily in a squad means nothing if you buy mostly shite. The only two good players we have signed are Burgess and Galbraith. And one of them was free. The rest are, at best, underwhelming, at worst, cack.

We could sack Sheehan tomorrow, we'd probably get a little bounce, but most of this lot would very quickly just go back to being rubbish. More than enough evidence by now for several of them
The window was hailed incorrectly as superb by some. It wasn't bad but we certainly have a squad who are better than 17th.

I think an over excitable fan base with our purchases with a pragmatic manager has just been a line up for us to struggle.
We have 4 wingers, 3 strikers who can get goals with some decent central midfielders and yet we struggle to create......things need to change and the first point of change is the Manager.

Again with this "infinitely better" nonsense.

How on earth can you say that when we have all just witnessed a piece of defending from Key that was National League level. And I'm probably doing the National League a disservice there.

We have got to start facing facts that a lot of our squad are just not good enough at this level.
We’re not 18th in the league level bad, you can see quality in most of the players. The squad is being misused in my opinion, the current set up isn’t getting the most out of the group.

What formation are we playing? I can’t see it.

Who is RB?

Turned it on at 52 mins and we’re 2-0 down.
Idah’s header in the 69th min was the first touch I’ve seen in their box.
Simmering

Some crap being posted on here, of course we’ve got better players than last year, the only thing we haven’t improved on is the manager.
We’ve shown our quality in fits and starts, we battered a team on Saturday who are sixth in the table, the manager has had fourteen games and still doesn’t know his best team.

Absolutely frightening that Preston are 4th with this win.

Unbelievably shite.

This is my belief. There doesn't seem to be any consistent drilling as the team are mostly all over the place.

This can only be down to the manager. The team, I believe, are capable of much, much better.

Inoussa, Stamenic and Widell all have something about but them, but I see what you're saying. We're both bemoaning the same point. We should be doing a lot better and there's only one thing we can change at this point.
