• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Heading over later. Was not going to, but sentimentality got the better of me. Brum on an early Saturday evening was my first game in person. The all whites played Australia in the afternoon so kick off was pushed back (6:30?). Terrible game but was hooked. Mainly over the chanting about Archie Gemill’s onanism. Robbie got the only goal. Hard to believe 45 years of despair have passed under the bridge.

Good to have Cullen back , Another option off the bench .
All Championship games are difficult
Brum are a physical side who pose a threat from corners & free kicks .
Start on the front foot with pace and tempo .
Looks as if Matos is working out his best side with good options off the bench .

A week on from the passing of Terry Yorath the Swans should have an appropriate celebration of his life .

Watch along with Benjamin Bloom on YouTube from 5:15. Or at least predict the result which is currently for a Brummie win.

A win today can really propel us upwards. We will leapfrog Brum and could potentially end the day in 14th, a win or so away from top half. There isn’t much in this league outside the top 3-4 teams.

I read Birmingham have injury question marks regarding several of their starters and although we will not have ISS, Idah, Benson, Casey or Santos today - as long as we do not have defensive injuries we should look strong overall.
