• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I was watching the game. Every time we put a cross in one of their massive defenders would head the ball away before any of our non-massive forwards got anywhere close. It was a futile exercise even if the quality of the balls had been better. That was my point. What was your point? That they should have/could have scored another three goals while we were pointlessly continuing to try to cross our way to victory? That would have been a valid response to my post if I had said anything about our defence. But I didn't. So I don't get your point. I know that another poster has said that you are not a Russian Bot/Troll from Penarth and that they've known you since you were knee high to a bombsite, but you sure as hell post like a WUM. With respect.
You're making concoctions up in your own head, see a psychiatrist, seriously.. about the game, we pushed up in a 5 man press and Derby cut through us like every team we've played this season.. you wouldn't know football if it hit you in the face

The only conclusion to be drawn from tonight is that our Championship status is now entirely dependent on a new head coach who is a total rookie at this level of football.

Make no mistake - if this guy turns out to be a dud, we are going down. Pray he's not.
The January window will be a massive factor too.

It’s disappointing but all this crap about going down is going over the top a bit, we’re in a bit of trouble and the appointment of the new guy doesn’t help in my opinion.

Totally the wrong gig for him, strange country, struggling team and for now no back room staff…I feel for the guy.

It’s right that we lost.

The manager needed to see what a sorry bunch he has here. Jogging about looking disinterested.

If he knows what he’s doing he’ll rip them a new one tonight - we’ll know by next game.
To be honest I didnt see a lack of effort, just a lack of quality.
Vitors got a right job on his hands here, and no mistake.

I'm making up "concoctions?" OK, maybe you are from Penlan after all (and I say this as a Blaenymaes boy). LMAO.

Boos at the end, that's gonna help. FFS.
Judging by the crowd tonight - the actual real one, not the one they'll officially report - that was the absolute hardest of the hardcore. Die hards.

After nearly 5 years of putting up with Martin, Duff, Williams, Sheehan and being bored to tears, then having to endure 90 mins of that utter crap, I think we can allow them a few boos at the end. Don't you?
