Can blame the manager, blame the ref but unfortunately tonight (and in quite a few other games so far this season) the players are failing to do some basics - giving the ball away cheaply, not tracking runners, losing too many 50-50s, giving away cheap free kicks.

This together with a lack of tempo and a reluctance (Tymon aside) to deliver the ball when in good positions is very frustrating.

I hate knee jerk reactions and this is sounding a bit like one but Saturday becomes an increasingly more important game in terms of shaping the rest of the 1st half of the season after tonight’s result.

I think we should have kept Idah on and played him with Vip for the last 15 mins. Idah was holding the ball up and causing problems although isolated but was covering a lot of ground.

As for unsuccessful crosses.. it must have been 20 plus

As for Galbraith at RB in a team of our make up is just ridiculous in my view

Even I can't defend that performance tonight. If we lose against Norwich the pressure is going to be on Sheehan.

On a slightly positive note I thought Widdell did ok for the short period of time he was on the pitch
I will be desperately hoping for 3 points on Saturday but a positive performance, for me is far more important, as 3 points may just paper over the cracks. It's very admirable of you smurff to say that your not happy with the performance tonight. Respect muush. 🙏

Really? He's not calling you a fairy or a poof. Why are you offended for someone else, who may not give a monkeys? Sorry is it ok to say "monkey's" Lizzy?
Genuinely not sure why you’re calling me Lizzy?

The world changes because some people with the ability to speak out do so on behalf of those who don’t. It’s why people from our neck of the woods are able to do stuff like vote, get medical attention, send our children to school. I’m not offended on behalf of anyone. I made a perfectly polite request for him to get angry without using bigoted language.

I was pleased when Sheehan got the top job. After 11 games and around 9 inept performances I will be equally as happy if the board are looking elsewhere.
I'd like to be able to say
''Not sure what to expect Saturday''............................

They had to give it to him based on last season. He's now shown that he's not up to it - both in results and general play which is probably the worst I can remember.

They need to spend big on a manager like they did in the squad, not piss around with another process guy
Agree that he boxed us in last season, but how many caretaker managers go on to be successful….very few.
We should have thanked him for the job he did and then appointed someone who was more experienced and proven, we’ve spent big by our standards and the clubs profile is higher than it’s been for many years, I’m pretty sure the board expected more.

Incredible to see how all that pre season optimism has drained away.

Or maybe 3 at the back. Solve the right-back issue, by not having one.
Yep. Yep up front.

Nothing to lose. This crap ain't working.

Casey, cabango, burgess

Tymon, Galbraith, stamenic, widdel, ronald

Idah, vip

I am so angry at the moment. All early season optimism has been well and truly sucked off of us by sheehan

Same here, I'd even be happy leaving the ground thinking you know what we might have lost the game, at least we had ago and we had something to get us off our seats.

Just desperate for things to work out, the early season promise is evaporating which is so frustrating. I hoesntly feel swapping the manage again isn't going to help.

Saying that based on recent performances it is hard making excuses for the manager and the team.

I appreciate your post 👍🏼

See my last post.

I thought we'd make a real go of this this year.

I can accept losing but can't accept a reluctance to try and win games and attack.

These owners will be fuming and I wouldn't doubt that they're looking for replacements as we sleakl

4-4-2 anyone with Idah and Vip upfront together?
4-3-1-2 for me if you want 2 upfront

Franco-Stamenic-Galbraith
Widdell (or EOM)
Idah and Vip (Cullen to sub)

But the problem is what to do with all those wingers we have !!

And I would put Ronald, Casey or Parker (actually anyone) at RB infront of Key
