A very long winded way of saying you don't have a plan then.

From where I'm standing, it seems you and a few others just want to moan at Sheehan because you think we have a divine right to be in the top 6 after a handful of games, just because we spent a bit of money for a change last summer and Snoop now supports us.

The squad value is only around 10th or 11th though.
But is an improvement on what we had last seaaon?

None of that is data.

I'm not saying you don't have a few valid points there, but it's still not data.
This from someone who labelles our centre backs as carthorses last season.

I dont think we have the divine right to be top 6
Before a ball was kicked I was urging caution to those prediciting automatic promotion ficen us having our best window in a long time

I.am just expressing my opinion about the weaknesses I have witnessed in our manager which I think will hamper our progress.

This comes from many years of supporting our club and witnessimg many managagers from Harry Griffiths through to Sheehan whilst also seeing the likes of Shankley, Robson,Ferguson et al.
My views are not based on results but Sheehans approach in selection tactics and subs .
In fairness he got it right against Forest tthough he had nothing to lose and at Blackburn on Tuesday it worked fir him but lets be honest Watford and Hull he f
got it wrong....Yes we were unlucky not to have the goal at Brum but the tactics of settlimg fir a draw cost us. Lets be fair you yourself were critical of his starting line up today
He did get his subs and at times tactics wrong. He is a young manager in his first job. Irrelevant if he has been here for a while. Its a whole different field when you are in charge. The club might want more and see more ambition and might not be happy. Who knows. But let's see where we go. If he fails we will soon know, but maybe not get on his back so fast. We all want the same thing. But some are patient than others.

The issue for me is he is making rhe smae mistakes and not learning.
We are all enritled to an opinion and Im sorry mine diesnt suit you.
I really want him to suceed for my clubs sake....I havent said I want him gone im just saying I dont think he has what it takes to take us forward....we may well finish mid table under him.....but is that where the clubs ambitions lay?
But personally from what I have this season I have concerns about his ability as a no1 ....plus many others are.not impresses with the entertainment value

As frustrating as it has been, Sheehan is doing a decent job.
He's learning and has a young and has a squad that is relatively new to one another.

We have had a decent window with a lot of potential but there will be a lot of inconsistency both from the team and Sheehan and his staff.
It's a work in progress.

Its no better than last seasons start....

Not having a pop but maybe do some research before throwing mud against the wall. Widell, Wales and many of the new and younger players are being managed and eased into the team for many reason
Sheehan has stated this in pre and post matches. It was also confirmed by the Indy in reports. Galbraith has played alot and needed to rest, he has come up a level from League one. Yalcouye is 19 and still learning. Wales the same. Widell is being carefully handled. Franco was also told he needed to improve. Sheehan doesn't get a free pass, but we have had the hardest first set of games to a season in the championship, got a ton of new players with 0 championship experience. Could Sheehan do better at times sure. He got some subs wrong and sometimes we can be slow. But we are coming off the best record in 5 years of being unbeaten from home, beat a premier league team recently and got a player in VP who has scored in consecutive matches as of recently which has been the first in 15 years. We are also 7 points from 1st place and 3 points from 6th spot. Not to bad.
Widdell is 23 and has been playing senior competetive football in Denmark whiic I would imagine is a bit more competetive than our u21 s football. Surely the way to ease him in is to give him time off the bench or start to "weaker" teams.....we are in danger of having an expensive Ollie Cooper .
