• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I'm not seeing a single difference between what shit Sheehan was serving up compared to this. Only difference is we've started to score worldie goals again which disappeared under the last few games of Sheehan.

This is horrible to watch. We're just getting the rub of the green again and playing some awful teams.
You defo are trolling now 😜😜😭🤣🤣

Nice to see a manager who makes changes early and not be predictable like Sheehan did. Also they actually contributed when they came on. Something rarely seen under Sheehan. I still can't get my head around what the hell happened under Sheehan and O Dea and how it went down hill so fast.
Cullen bashers need to give credit where it’s due at times.

Wanted to Mention Widell, thought he was fantastic tonight. He works tirelessly and seems to me like he wins the ball more often than not. His end product will come, was unlucky not to score tonight. Hope he can nail down a starting spot next to Franco because he needs that run of games.
I’ve thought that Widell had promise since preseason, it was disappointing to see him left out so often. I’m glad he’s getting the chance to prove himself.

Think that’s why Franco was quiet after 25 mins. He worked his ass of against Oxford
Im not gonna start saying Franco has and will be amazing. But one thing I've noticed is Franco and Eom specifically have upped there game on hunting players down. Something Matos likes.

I actually fancy us at Stoke…..I know!

Then the Hollywood game will have a crowd factor, so we’ll be in that one. Hopefully we can relax a little now and not play in such a tense way.
I think we’re going to win every game before kick off - it’s the hope …..

I can sort of see where you’re coming from but the manager has only had one full week with the players on the training pitch and there won’t have been much opportunity to do much between Oxford and tonight.

Things are changing slowly, we had 7 on target tonight and I’d be willing to bet that we’ve had a lot more touches in the opposition box per 90 in the last 4 games than we were having.

Are we playing well and controlling games? Not yet but Matos has been here two weeks with no coaching staff of his own. Time needs to be given, and in the meantime the effort is there.

Players are actually playing for their positions out there now, reality football has suddenly kicked in, if you've got to boot it out, you boot it out, every pass doesn't have to be safe.. they're actually thinking when to go forward and when not to go forward.. positionally we seem to be better.. it's not perfect, it's a bit slow, but he's been here for 2 weeks.. Stoke on Saturday will test us, let's see if it's a false dawn.. but if they have stinkers and get pumped I can see Matos dropping a few
