I've been Keys biggest critic, but as per, give credit where its deserved. Still has a long way to make amends for his terrible defending and general play this season but did well under pressure of critics. Tactically we had everything in the first half other than a striker. It was a risk that Matos obviously felt was worth taking with keeping players fresh, we had a blip for about 10 minutes or so but credit to lads.An odd game tactically.
Playing without a striker cost us in terms of creativity, but it didn't half make the press effective. WBA simply couldn't keep the ball long enough. Second half we subbed our way to a more conventional setup and it was like our half time drinks had been spiked with Mogadon. WBA went up several gears and it seemed like only a matter of time until we conceded.
Enter Jay Fulton. Goal aside he was excellent when he came on. Helped us to bully our way back into dominance.
Yalcouye probably our best player but nobody really played poorly. Key did well in the first half which will be a boost to his confidence hopefully. Pleased to hear the amount of support for him from around me in the East. People wanted him to do well.
