• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

WBA have prepared for a very different looking Swansea side, their manager is thinking what the f*ck! All my plans are doomed. 😉
I would be over the moon if I was them. Just tell every player to play against Key. Guaranteed goals from that side.

Just hope with Matos high pressing game that the team doesn't completely run out of steam two thirds into the season, and have nothing left in the tank for the final 10 games.
This was a common problem with Bielsa teams

Matos thinking will be to keep it 0-0 untill the 60th minute then get Galbraith and Vip (for Stamenic and Inoussa/Widell is my guess) on to try and win it.

Whether we can keep it a close game until the 60th minute is different case. A point and i am happy.
Oh that should have everyone enthralled for the first hour then.

The thing we have to factor in is the fact we have been home only once during this period after Christmas Day so it was always going to happen, but not with this 11. I would have liked to see Wales start. With Vipotnik there to take his place after 60 mins.

With three of our four regular wide players starting (Ronald, Widell and Inoussa) it’s highly likely that Wales will come on as a winger along with Rom later in the game

On reflection. The line up is good, only with Galbraith and VP not in it. But sadly they are the most influenced players in the squad in what they do. Trying to find some positive in this.

Don’t forget that physios will have had a significant chunk of input here. Vipotnik played the full game last time out, Galbraith almost the whole game and same with Widell.

Truthfully I am surprised that Widell starts considering the insane amount of ground he covered on Monday

Right I'm predicting it now
Pin or Bookmark this comment. Widell gets his first goal today.

Given where we are in the table, I imagine the majority of fans would be fine with a boring 60 or 90 minutes if we come away with 3 points.

One of the best performances we’ve ever played was against West Brom when we started three wingers and no centre forward.

Wingers were a bit different though…
