• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Great first hals, resilience was the key in the second one. From the first goal there wasn’t a doubt that the game is ours, need to improve things but the horizon is brighter. COYS

Best performance of the season for me. Battled throughout. Outstanding Eom, Galbraith and Burgess won everything in the air in the second half.
Well done boys and well done Vitor.

It’s great to see the wingers given license to be wingers and try to attack their full backs

Really encouraging performance, haven't had that much threat going forward for a long time. Eom's best game for us I'd say.

Slightly worry about Portsmouth on Tues with their game being abandoned, they'll be very fresh

Much improved Eom today(apart from should've passed to Franco instead of shooting), Galbraith bossing the game from RB. Even Ronald showed glimpses of what he can do, thought Stamenic had a good game, Tyrone wow what a hit. Finally the ref was completely gash. Great 3 pts, hopefully instill some belief for the game Tues.

I was impressed by the energy levels today. Apart from dropping a bit too deep in the last ten minutes, I thought our fitness looked very good in appalling weather conditions. Good pressing throughout the match too, and clever use of subs by Vitor.
Really looking forward to coming over on Tuesday now to see if we can keep it up. Bringing a French mate from Spain with me for his first ever visit to the UK and the mighty Swans!

Thought the first half an hour was a very poor game from two very limited sides.

But then we seemed to gain a stranglehold on it and scored two excellent goals. Tymon's won't be beaten for our goal of the season.

In many ways I was more impressed with the second half - we pressed high, remained very aggressive and we were sprinting towards the man in possession. That's why we won the game. We worked harder than them.

Huge three points.

Great games from quite a few today, Eom, Franco, best games in ages. More solid at the back.

Liked the formation.

Biggest plus for me was there had obviously been instructions to the wide men to take on their players, and instructions to the whole team to have a shot. Much more positive.

Pressing good particularly in the first half and just more energy all round.

Same line up next time please.
