Delighted with the three points but even after going to Specsavers I’m not seeing what some of you are.
Total lack of any control or structure to our game even an awful and badly depleted Blackburn had us on the back foot at times.

One thing is certain, any semblance of the Swansea way has now gone, some of you might be enjoying what you’re watching but for me it’s just Helter Skelter football with players charging around the pitch, it may bring results but it’s not for me.
I am loving the chasing down balls. Didn't think I would. But it really does make a difference. Yes tonight wasn't best example of our play and we have been better, but I'll take this attacking quick transition and closing down more than anything I've seen in a long time.

3 points is the most important tonight.

On Saturday I posted it was frustrating as we could have won.
Tonight I'm more frustrated with our game management in the last 10-15 minutes when Blackburn had two clear chances to score.
I can't see us making a play off push as we need some players to achieve that and I don't think we'll get them.
As far as relegation, I think we'd have enough about us to get to over 50 points.
so taking each game at a time I just want to see steady progress.
maybe that's writing this season off, but it's all about creating a style of play that players are comfortable with.
At the moment we can't do it for a full game, and substitutions are weakening the performance.
This season is only about survival. Get the points and get better at Matos style. I can still live in dream land with top 6 😜. But I'll take what I'm seeing under Matos over anything I saw under Williams, Martin, Sheehan and Duff. We might not always get it right, but it's more entertaining.

Good for you👍

Football has moved on since “the Swansea way” give it a rest

Got to give Bobby Wales a go if Vipotnik comes off surely - especially if we are 2 or 3 up

I thought Widdell had a brilliant game - far more influence than those two had.

For Widdel position, he needs to create a lot more. Breaking up play is great but we have players in the team that do that.

A welcome 3 points tonight. The difference Vitor has made is becoming more and more obvious. Took our foot off the gas for a spell but thankfully recovered. Best I have seen Vipi play. Showed he isn't just a goal machine. Widell and Eom continue to impress and Franco has found his magic again. If I have a criticism I am afraid its Cullen. He brings down the standard when he comes on. Way too negative.

Vipotnik was absolutely flawless. 2 really well taken goals and held the ball up brilliantly.

Burgess made some very important interventions.

Too scrappy and they had 2 clear cut chances at 3-1 but wins a win. Especially as the team that ended the game had Cooper, Cullen, Fulton, Ward and Ronald in it (none of whom should be starting in a top half championship team).

In terms of right back I feel like Ward is getting up to speed, he looked comfortable tonight with the 20-odd minutes he played
He clearly knows the position inside out. Galbraith continues to show that he doesn’t with that mess of a goal conceded again from the right hand side tonight. If only we had a player with Ward’s experience and Galbraith’s legs at right back.

If we keep VP and Galbraith in the summer and get a decent RB, then this team can go to next level. Cullen for me is not good enough if we want to evolve. Widell getting alot of flack tonight. Not sure why. His movement tonight was brilliant. And had some really good moments. Maybe it wasn't his best game, but he adds so much to the team and sets the tempo.

Is it me or does Ward always have a shocked expression on his face all the time 🤣, I mean I'm not exsactly a looker 😜, joking aside. I agree only if we had Ward with the legs which would allow Galbraith in midfield. At moment though, I can't see us changing anything. Key is clearly can't be trusted. Yes if Key had lost us that goal like Galbraith did tonight, I would be shouting how bad it was. Maybe it's because Galbraith has been immense this season, he gets a pass.
