• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What's nailed on tonight !?

Poor ref
90 mins of Ronald
Raining
Low away attendance
Score draw
Unbeaten at home under Matos

In fairness to Ronald I think he's improving under Matos... I'm seeing him put in some lovely balls into the box which the attackers havent been quite alert enough to / they've missed glorious opportunities from chances he's created.

I agree, but his lack of end product is still immensely annoying. I don't expect him to randomly become a clinical finisher overnight, but you'd think that out of the chances he had against Oxford and Birmingham, he'd have hit the target with at least one of them. Hard to criticise him too much, as he's our only direct player, so is missing chances that no-one else is near

They haven't scored a goal in their last four away games, and we won at their place with goals by Franco and Cullen.
Swansea to win 2-0 to keep up our habit of beating the teams beneath us, and Blackburn to drop into the relegation zone after this weekend.

I fancy us tonight. Unless we lose a lot of energy in the press (could happen, but unlikely) I think we overwhelm them, pen them in and we win. 2-0.

Me too, I hope we come out of the traps fast and win by a few goals. Will give the boys confidence.
Nothing is a given in this league, but as is the recent trend, I’m super fooking excited to watch the game tonight. COYS!

If we go 1-0 and are on top, we MUST get that second goal.

Once again, this has become quite an important match. Points are more important than performance tonight.

This isn't quite a six pointer, but we really do have to win this evening. Back of a fag packet maths show that (assuming that at least some results go in our favour) we could end this evening closer to the playoffs than the bottom three - seven point gap vs nine points gap.

Not for a second implying we're good enough for the playoffs hunt, but it would hopefully have us kick on to a top half, maybe even top ten, finish rather than looking down every week

The Blackburn boss Ishmael will be hell bent on making this an attritional one and I don’t think we’ll get a raft of chances, so being clinical (something we haven’t been) will be vital. Not quite a 6 pointer but win this and I don’t think the drop is something we’ll need to worry about.
A Vip hat trick, it’s coming.
