• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

So impressed by those Wednesday fans. I almost wanted them to score an injury time goal for those folks. I hope they win every other match they play. They won’t of course as they are a guaranteed 3 points for any opponent. Some great fans though.

Jenny Yates bio should say “league 2 footballer, on loan from league 1 Luton, playing for championship Sheffield Wednesday”

I was just thinking, jesus, it must be depressing stuff for them, fair play for them making the journey down here on a Sunday, it's a bit of a trek.

Almost as depressing as living in Sheffield.

Sick to death of the commentator on Sky banging on about Sheffield Wednesday and their situation and what a big club they are and how good the fans are.

No doubt it's a shit situation for the fans but they weren't moaning when Chansiri was investing heavily in the club. They as a club have been messing about with the financial side of things for years, didn't they do a dodgy deal for their stadium like Derby did?

I don't feel any sympathy for them and it just goes to show as we nom only too well the club you love is ultimately controlled by someone who may or may not give a shit.

Should do a lot for the squad’s self-belief (not that I think they have had a problem since Sheehan left)

Today had every chance of being a banana skin. But the lads did their jobs and were professional, Wednesday were limited but you can only beat what’s in front of you
