I went to Peterborough in January 2000, just after the Millennium Celebrations and the World not ending. I was living in London at the time. I got the 10am train to Peterborough, in those days I thought Peterborough was more northern than it actually is. I was bemused when we pulled into Peterborough at 10.50am.

I was so much earlier then I expected to be there so I proceeded to have a look round the Cathedral and get some breakfast in a Wetherspoons. I wandered down to the ground, where the away pub was the away pub by day and a gay bar by night. My mate Dean had come up with his Dad from Swansea and he said to be ‘Tim, there are no Cubicles in the toilet?’ and I replied ‘might be because it is a gay bar?’ ‘He hadn’t any clue!’ He said ‘Fuck it I’m using the ladies!’

Anyway we were losing 2-0 at halftime, but we ended up winning 3-2 and it was nice to just have a 50 minute ride back to London with no stops. 🥳

I remember it well.. I had a party in St Neots then staggered to London Road.. I remember Freestone having a blinder and our terrace going mad when the 3rd goal went in.

I sincerely hope we don't revert to a back 4 with Eom and Ronald offering very little out wide and no Widdel .

But you can see it coming..
Everything that was good from first half against Man City will be binned and we will revert back. I'm trying to be positive 😂😂😂.

I see Eom and Ronald Starting with Cabango, and No Casey in lineup. Widell won't start either.

To some respect I understand as it's quick turnaround of games, so rotation and all. But ideal world would of been nice to see something different.

I still think we are good for a win today, 2-1 Swans.

As much as it’s a sad reason of absence - I think we could benefit from Stamenic not being in the side today. Franco & Galbraith in the deeper 6 roles with room for Widell or Cullen further forward would mix things up a bit
