Swansea City v Middlesbrough
The Liberty Stadium, Swansea
The SKYBET Championship
Saturday 06 March 2021, 3pm Kick Off
There is no let up in the Championship fixture list at the moment and the Swans attention immediately turns to welcoming Middlesbrough to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
The midweek win over Stoke was as well received as it was well timed and we now go into the last 14 games of our season just a point off the automatic places but, what could be crucially, with two games in hand. One of those games in hand will be played next midweek but for now Steve Cooper will focus his side on returning to winning ways at home after the disappointment of last week's defeat to Bristol City.
We still have five games left to play this month ahead of the international break and with Norwich having suddenly pulled themselves 10 points clear in the league it does start to look increasingly likely that we are competing with Brentford and Watford for just the one remaining automatic place. For now that place remains in our hands.
As ever on Planet Swans we have for you some of the most comprehensive pre-match coverage in our matchday thread that will bring you all we need to know over the next few days as well as all the chat during the match together with every post match follow up you would wish to read (and maybe even more!)
