Like others have already said, no-one's died, so we shrug it off and move on. Last week I would have been happy to take 3 points from the last 2 games.

I'm fairly relaxed. I said we're far from the finished article, and we crumble under pressure against the top teams. Martin has work to do on the defence, including new personnel. No sweat. We're a mid table team this season, but far better to watch than the previous two seasons. A work in progress.

The difference this season apart from the far more entertaining football, is that if we were to get to the play-offs I‘d really fancy our chances.

Yeah we were well beaten today. Muff were fitter and more savvy than us in all areas and moved the ball fast on the break. They’ll be going up automatically.

Yep, but at the end of the day we were justifiably beaten by a crap PL team.

What happens when Laird goes back? If we are building up to next season, its going to be a bit difficult without our main attacking threat. Food for thought.

Sh*t happens.

Games leading up to Christmas now all against teams we will be confident picking points up against. If we are in the mixer come January I’m pretty certain Martin and recruitment team has players listed who can come in and make an immediate impact to improve us further.

Brilliant support yet again from everyone who travelled, kudos to you all!

If we are fortunate enough to go up, perhaps throw a decent proportion of our increased transfer budget at United to convince them to sell him to us? With a buy-back clause in there of course, otherwise I doubt they'd go for it. Worked for Palace with Guehi and Chelsea this summer.

The first 3 goals yesterday were our own mistakes. Either caught out of position or gave the ball away in bad areas (Bennett for the second and suicidal pass for grimes to deal with for the third. Those are things that can be fixed on the training pitch given time.

It's no coincidence that we dominated early on with short passes and movement with ball on the floor. Second half we started going longer and the ball kept coming back over and over. Bennett being the main culprit. Definitely not one of his better days especially as the first goal was down his side too. He will be a target in this formation against pace.

Watching Wan bissaka yesterday i wouldn't be surprised if they recall him in jan.

A super fit 3 yr old Charolais bull with a bit of attitude should do the trick. Much more nimble on the hoof than your Aberdeen Angus.
