• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The BBC Stoke Commentators stated the highlight of the First half was when a neighbouring journalist passed them some Wagon Wheels.

Positive is that we are defending ok, but you know there’s a mistake to come.

As said above, we get in good positions and something looks on and....... the ball
goes back to the defenders and back to the keeper who kicks it in to touch. The thing is that if the players up front were trying to get forward and it went it to touch then at least we would be at the right end of the pitch and we might even have a better chance of getting a goal.
It is painful but I have some hope.

About as bad as it can get, game after game of the same crap with no sign of improvement, what did the commentator say…something along the lines of..all their moves seem premeditated as if they’re off the training ground they’re unable to think for themselves, bang on the money in my opinion.
It's true.
He probably hasn't thought it through though because his team is lower than ours in the table.
Somehow.

Seriously, if we win I’ll be delighted but we can’t go on serving this dross up game after game, rarely have I seen a manager so far out of his depth.

I can't remember the last time we won a game where we won it convincingly. I'm sure someone will remind me.

Our wins (as scarce as they are at the moment) always seem to be smash-and-grab scraping a win type of games.
