• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

You know it's coming. A poor giveaway and a harsh penalty stopped our game plan.Pray for 89 mins and fluke an own goal for a win

EVen Martin cant take positives out of tonight.

The only one was we only lost by 3

I've.said it enough times that I've seen poor performances over the years in the lower divisions but accepted it because it was at that level, but the team played as a team. Now there seems to be nothing to build on. Swansea beach must have lost all its sand as it's now being used as our team foundation. I despair for the fans who paid in time and money to be there tonight. It's unacceptable that again a performance has been woefull. Players have to take responsibility but it's been drummed into them to play a certain way.

This is the bit - we may have smaller budgets but those players are paid handsomely and yet they are incapable of competing in a game of football against a side who are distinctly average

But they will be making the same "we need to bounce back" shit comments all week leading up to Bristol City

Lets not dress this up last Saturday was also nothing special - we got a win as Blackburn wasted their chances

Fully agree. It did happen earlier in the season when our defence was supposedly solid. Chances were given away the but not taken. The players can perform better than this with the right line up and tactics. Do I expected no.

I remain convinced that last season appeared to be boring due to the lack of fans and, therefore, atmosphere. All games were boring last year. Even Man City and Liverpool.

Imagine this with no noise, no fans, no atmosphere.

I’m sure it didn’t help and I felt like that too, but I was just as bored in person by our two playoff games.

Yes, but who did you fancy in the Playoffs ?

I truly fancied our chances, despite the odds.

You forgot your dots.

Are we going to start having a man sent off every game. Our entire game plan is beyond our players. We lose the ball so often these fouls are inevitable. Unless we can find some other way of playing there is no future in this project.

Apparantly so.

At half time, I said to myself I'd take a draw, then I thought, no, actually, on this performance, I'd take a 0-1 defeat.
