• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Can we stop blaming Vigoroux for the goal.

The boy shot from pretty much the edge of the 6 yard box, it was well struck, low down, and it went through our defenders legs. If you'd played GK you'd know that 99 times of a 100 the ball is going past you in those circumstances.

If you want to blame anyone, blame the dickhead who vacated the left hand side and left their player unmarked. You won't get any prizes for guessing who it was
Tymon tracked the runner whilst the ball went to the free man. The defensive four should not have left him covering two.

Vig is by far the least of our worries, I'm failing to get the negativity sorry. I tried picking a team for next season and he was one of only 5 I'd have (Key as a fucking FB, Cabango, Darling and Franco the others- I'd have Cullen and Cooper on the bench too).

We left at 88 mins and heard our goal. Changed nothing about our mood. A draw against a bang average team by a cach team.

Darling won’t be here.

Awful game
Awful atmosphere
Awful pressing
Awful on the ball.
We need 4/5 new first teamers in this window.

2nd game on the trot that Cullen has been a non entity, you can normally depend on him to press.
Agree with all the players you’ve mentioned, was just about to post similar.

Well, I for one am grateful for a point against a high flying team, I was fearing a caning before kick off.
I thought Christie did OK although playing very conservatively and taking no chances. Darling was a rock and will be a massive miss for us if he goes. Ronald had a decent game and was a thorn in the side of their left back the whole 90 minutes, putting in a good cross for the equaliser. Eom had virtually no impact and is so lightweight, very easily brushed off the ball in any physical challenge.
Above all, we desperately need to recruit some quality players, three or four at least. Maybe not in January, since there's not much about at that time of year and we're not going to do anything spectacular this season, but certainly in the summer if we want to challenge in the top half next time around.

Agreed to an extent. Vig’s a good stopper. He doesn’t suit playing out from the back, so a bit of a square peg in a round hole for me. But absolutely the least of our worries.
Key’s been poor for a while. Not sure if that’s him or the system. 100% need better than Cullen in that role - we may get a bit more from our CF is there was someone to help them.

Worst atmosphere for a long time. Flat as a pancake - not that there was anything to cheer about. We we so slow, no urgency or energy (except for Franco) and loads more mis-controls than normal.

I was bored and cold 🤣

Fully agree about Cullen. Can have a good strikers instinct in the box but otherwise contributes little and had a poor one today giving the ball away frequently and looking slower than normal. Ronald for all his flaws worked hard and helped with the goal. I think Bianchini could do ok with a more creative player behind him. Darling did very well and Christie ok but should have been subbed earlier before cramp set in. As for the plan of inverted full backs- give it a rest
