• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What on earth did we bring those subs on for today. There was some good today though poor/unlucky finishing robbed our chances of a good lead. Sorry to any of Abdulai's mates but the lad looks out of his depth at this level. Grimes actually looked threatening going forward a few times but his safe passing was terrible terrible today.

Is very very easy answer for to score the goals

Stoke were getting the higher ground before the subs, we needed to make subs because we needed freshening up.......the 3 that came on didn't have the presence to do so.

yes we needed freshening up but not for that. Cullen is a menace and causes distraction and was an obvious sub but to bring on the most not threatening subs in the league was a manager error.

That was probably the most mid table match of all time.

Our strikers and wingers are hopeless. We're a half decent side elsewhere in the team - not perfect, but serviceable. Up front though, we just look toothless. I just don't see where the goals are coming from. It's a real problem.

Btw our subs today were shite. Contributed next to nothing. Awful.
Agree with everything there.
Will say though, I’ve got a sneaky feeling that big Vip is a good player, we’re just not getting to see it.
Did anyone who played on the wing or at 10 today, take a man on and drive into the box?
Keeper, 2 CBs, Grimes and Franco were good today.

The point about the wingers and the ten is surely a training ground thing. Wingers normally attack instinctively, ours usually don’t.

Darling, Cabango and Viggy are playing out of their skins. But it isn't sustainable, we will concede goals. Us not scoring enough to win games could absolutely continue indefinitely though unfortunately.

Maybe it’s a case of having to sacrifice a bit of attacking threat in order to shore up at the back. We had a season or so of shipping goals at an alarming rate, so we’ve at least sorted most of that. Perhaps the pendulum has swung too far.
