• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Seems Drakeford may just be ahead of the curve

His short sharp lockdown worked so well, he's managed to drive the figure up. Wee Burnie's doing just as well which is surprising as she's managed to get the life expectancy of men down to 64 in Glasgow. Playing politics with a pandemic is a stupid game IMHO.

Yup.

Reminder that the firebreak was as limited as it was because the UK government wouldn’t provide financial support for a more stringent lockdown until after the UK government had already U-turned on the issue.

Is that right? Not surprising.

And another reminder for those who say it doesn't work that it ended a month ago and coincided with the lowest cases reported during this autumn second wave.

Drakeford and the snp have played politics all the way through. I still can’t get my head around the Welsh people voting in this pathetic excuse of a man.

Just because his son is in prison for rape, shouldn’t mean the rest of the population has to be placed into house arrest.

UK government wouldn’t extend furlough for Wales four days to cover the gap in funding. Then a week later the UK government announced the extension of furlough when they decided to u-turn on lockdown.
