• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

You may be shocked about the proven correlation regarding a significant population rise (local or national level) and a G.P surgery's ability to cope, along with a well respected G.P association representative appearing on TV stating (an obvious fact!) the catastrophic consequences of a TEN MILLION POPULATION INCREASE upon G.P services.

When? He stated that at the very same time this was happening NHS G.P service retention was in crisis and G.P's were going part time in their droves..... And then there's NHS dentist's, hospitals and many other etcetera's

Never mind? let's have another ten million in! "Righty Tighty Lefty Loosey" LOL
Y’know what’s funny? That you think Rockin is a lefty. You really are the thickest person on the internet.

Word salad. No idea what you’re talking about.

Good thing we have articulate Indians keeping the NHS afloat aye.

The figure you’re quoting is a projection, but it’s by no means set in stone and will depend on government policy.

I think you’ll find that Boris and subsequent incarnations of his Conservative government are responsible for the huge increase in migration and they also failed to match investment in the NHS with the rate at wick the population was aging and increasing.

The issue highlighted by surgery staff can be addressed by extra funding in to a Primary Care services, which is the point Drakeford was making, albeit rather clumsily and stupidly. Additional resources can make a world of difference.
