The playoffs are still in reach in the same way that Susanna Hoffs has always been in reach for me.

I think we may have gone too early on this. We weren’t far off bar a few poor results lately. It was just that final third that was the problem until Sheehan had a brain fart with playing 3 CBs. I’d be surprised if anyone else can get this squad firing in goals, but we’ll see. And I’m also surprised at how quickly it unraveled.
Disagree - but only time will tell. Not saying all our players are world beaters - bUT if you look at how isolated our striker is, our lack of a number 10 and our refusal to attack through central areas.. I could quite easily see an improvement very quickly in our attacking play.
I hate to sack a manager - but AS was giving me zero confidence he had any inclination or solution to all of the above.

Just throw it out there. Correct me if I am wrong wasn't Sheehan assigned as set piece coach under Williams? Yet we have been worse this season and lowest in the league? Add bad substitutions, poor tactics, not knowing his team and lowest XG and much more time was ticking wasn't it. I think like many others whatever happens next I just want to be entertained. If I see a team that not only tries but is set up right and show Intent, I'll be happy. I genuinely was dropping off watching Sheehan. Last time that happened was Under Cooper.
That was the plan, aiming to be more like a Cooper team.
Pragmatic.

Cooper had the advantage that he had experience in the youth set up with England and the links he had. Got us to the final but damn was I bored. I don't want Martin style, I don't want Duff nor Williams, maybe a Laudrup? I honestly don't think this is unrealistic. We have for years and even in small glimpses this season shown when we pass the ball fast and one touches and with intent we really bring the best out of the players. Non of this standing on the ball and slow backwards play.
