BetVictor odds:

Michael Carrick – 4/1
Gary O’Neil – 6/1
Brendan Rodgers – 6/1
Steven Gerrard – 8/1
Russell Martin – 8/1
Will Still – 10/1
Tony Mowbray – 12/1
Carlos Corberan – 16/1
Steven Schumacher – 16/1
Ralph Hassenhuttl – 16/1
If we get Corberan, I'll attend a Cardiff game in full Swans kit

I feel for Sheehan more than most of the other managers we’ve sacked over the years.

This has been the first poor spell he’s ever had as a Manager and I think you could sense in his interviews and appearances he didn’t really know how to combat that.

I think ultimately it was the correct decision to sack him - we have invested a huge amount this summer and if we didn’t act now then we would be wasting the season away. I think if this had been any other season over the past 5/6 years then he would have kept his job at this stage.

I hope he recovers and succeeds elsewhere - met him a few times and a nice guy who has settled into the area well
He'll bounce back from this. No doubt about it. It was always a gamble from our perspective but he'll get another gig at a lower league team and learn his trade.

Why do folk speak highly of Carrick? I’m not disagreeing with the positivity around him, I’m just not up to speed with his credentials.

Gary O’Neill: are we too small for him?
Brendan: <1% chance
Gerrard: nah
Russ: mega lolz
Will Still: nah
Mowbray: only to steady the ship
The rest: shrugs shoulders

Kevin Muscat not on the list

His name keeps cropping up for a move to the U.K.

In a way, I'm glad he's gone, so no one can start the 641st Sheehan Out thread which is all that's been on here for the last few weeks.

Just hope they've got a plan.

(That bookies list is about as inspiring as a cup of cold sick btw. Apart from Rodgers, who'd never come back in a million years)

Wow - ANH has changed his view - wanted him to stay just a few days ago.

Same here.

Only name on that list to consider would be Rodger’s, that ship sailed a long time ago

So, your not happy then? Make your mind up.
It’s the right decision ok butt, if that’s being happy then yes, not good enough and out of his depth as results have proven, no other manager that I can remember ( 50 yrs of support) would have gotten this ridiculous amount of sympathy.
Wish him well as I would most human beings….whats your attachment to him then??

Bristol City v Swansea City
