• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

That’s complete bollocks.

Go and have a read about our rise to number one in the world rankings. I think New Zealand had been at number one for something like 500 weeks, we had won 15 tests of 16, and had to beat England to take the coveted spot of #1. We delivered on the pitch that day. Not bad for a nation of three million souls.

It’s only incompetence at the top which has led us to where we are now. A familiar story, eh?
There's the incompetence at the WRU, but they'll never beat those fvckers that used to rule at the old Welsh FA. 😂

It was summer 2019, July or August.

I can’t help that you don’t understand the point.
I'd actually googled it in the meantime and yes, they were #1..... for all of 2 weeks 😂

Still doesn't alter my belief that the whole sport clings to the 70s like a baby its dummy.

But there we are.

New Zealand has been #1 for the previous 500 weeks. If you don’t understand the enormity of our feat then this thread isn’t for you.

This makes our rise to number one even more remarkable.
Welsh rugby has always been feast and famine. Just like the Swans. 3 absolutely world class teams (50s, 70s, 2005-2019) and bilge in between. Cant see much of a future for either under their management and financial constraints.

True, but sing when you’re winning.
