I will never celebrate another person losing their job, but RM and Southampton's premier league season has been a train wreck that you couldn't help watching week after week.
Just because I won't celebrate him getting sacked doesn't mean that I feel any pity for him, the man was complicit in helping Southampton to attempt to circumnavigate his contract clauses and if there is one of the (very) few things the Americans did right it was taking him and Southampton to court over it.
That case will have dragged his precious name and reputation through the mud and there will be a number of other clubs who would think twice about recruiting him based on that bit of cloak and dagger backstabbery, and those who do will also think thrice about how he can set up a side and watch them take a battering week after week and not change his principles and ditch "the process" to stop his team getting stuffed game in game out.
