I agree with this. The time is now and you work around the knock backs and have the options......options that are in place for circumstances like we are finding ourselves in.

Exactly this and we risk losing some of the talent we've brought in. It would be a huge shame not to get a striker in at this point IMO

I agree to some extent but if we want to make some sort of statement this season we need a striker. Otherwise we will be floating mid to bottom of table. It's a dilemma either way

It's not a dilemma. If the right player isn't there, we can't sign him.

Whats the alternative? Sign another dud just for the sake of it?

Confident, strong and go for it would be basics for me. Not always guaranteed but beats dithering and indecisive actions.

One thing for sure after today, Cullen is not a striker and will not benefit the team going forward as the main striker as proven when Vipotnik came on.

There was a few times today when he was on his heels, many times he was offside and his failure to turn the defence by not running in behind them was criminal.
He basically refused a one on one with the keeper with the easiest run in behind the centre half today.
