Macaulay Langstaff scored 70 in 91. I still think we were right to pass on him.
You can't compare Langstaff to Mivoski they have played at much different levels and I agree I wouldn't have signed Langstaff
You're right that is a bad comparison. I'm not as familiar with Scottish leagues, but it doesn't seem unreasonable to expect a drop off in scoring after moving to the championship from Scotland. I think that I would feel differently if he had scored more in Spain.
It would be really disappointing if we didn't, particularly with all the other decent signings we have made , but i don't want just anybody coming here just because we are short of a quality striker. I agree. Like many have said, I wouldn't want to sign someone for signing them and end up in same situation. Transfers will always come and go, but we have done so good this summer and although it wouldn't ruin the work put in it would taint it a bit. January will be more difficult to get someone. So do we really want go a whole season with what we have.
If we don’t get another winger in (and he’s not loaned out) then I assume he’s next in line and would be on the bench if any of Eom, Ronald or Inoussa are injured.
