Summer Transfer Window

If we're going to persist with playing a lone striker, then I can see us having no more than three first-teamers playing that position going into the season. I can't see Cullen going anywhere, and we've just signed Wales, so that leaves one other - currently that's Vipotnik. If we're seriously looking at Morris, he isn't coming in to sit on the bench and twiddle his thumbs, so is he being looked at as a replacement for Vipotnik?

I think we'd be looking to offload Yates, Kukareyvich and,,,maybe Vipotnik? Maybe his lack of pressing/agility means he's not suited to how we're looking to play and we've decided to replace?

If we could magically click our fingers and have Cullen, Morris and Wales as our three strikers, with the others having left in deals that made it a financially net positive trade, then I wouldn't be mad about it.

Don't know the truth in our interest in Low of Wycombe, probably nothing in it. Wycombe has offered him a new contract.
Something obviously happened with him after January because he hardly had a look in from then on.
Obviously with compo to be agreed but if we can get him on a 'free', I'd take him as 3rd choice to cover Cabango & Darling's replacement.

They signed Sonny Bradley, who helped get Derby promoted, so it may simply be the case that they preferred experience. Plus their manager left for Luton.

Vipotnik has been reported to have attracted interest from a number of countries. He has a thunderbolt shot, and decent ability to link play. However, his lack of pace and physicality is a concern. He's not going to get any faster, although he should be able to get a bit more robust. I'm not desperate to get rid, but a physical, hard working number 9, such as Morris or McBurnie, would be a much better fit.

Wales is not going to be a starter in his 1st season with us. I mean we are looking at 3 goals all season for Killie. 5 if you include cup games etc.

No way is he going to be our No 9 or 10 starter. And only 19. For future seasons imho.

He will get game time to develop but no way is he going to be a starter this season

Because we're good at buying strikers who don't fit.
There are clear signs we're getting our recruitment right. In Vipotnik's case perhaps we put too much on his availability on a free. We need to get the next one right. McBurnie and Morris both tick a lot of boxes that Vipotnik doesn't.

McBurnie is injury prone and nowhere near where he was.. Luton fans don't even think Morris is Championship standard now. We do need someone who can hold the ball up and offer an aerial goal threat.

No thank you on both. Morris age and 1 good season in championship, and Ollie, playing golf in Spain with a kid and loving the weather. Gareth Bale clone.

By the way his team on Gran Canaria off the coast of Africa is about 1,000 miles to Spain

Agree he's not coming in to be the main guy, but I doubt he's also coming in to play u-21s, so he will be a member of the first-team squad.

If we do continue with 1 up front, then I can see that being a rotation of sorts between a senior player like 'A New Signing' (or maybe Vipotnik) and Cullen. The 3rd guy who steps in to offer us something different as a sub has been Bianchini this season. I think that's going to be Wales' role next season.

Sheehan said he is going straight into 1st team so yes your right not U21

Disappointed that we have neve played Bianchini in his position. Always a winger until Luke decide who knows why a No9. I'd like to see him get on the wing subbing Roabld sometimes see what hes got
