I hope people are right about Wrexham, but I guarantee these kind of comments were all over League 2 clubs' forums two years ago and all over League 1 forums this time last season...I'm looking forward to the new documentary from Wrexham. Think it's called The Rise and Fall of Wrexham![]()
They will make a significant number of signings, which will transform their prospects. They should easily make the top half. Exactly how well they fare will depend on whether the existing squad members who are kept on can make the step up. The likes of Cleworth. There were doubts whether Rangel and Britton could step up to the Championship, let alone the Premier League.I hope people are right about Wrexham, but I guarantee these kind of comments were all over League 2 clubs' forums two years ago and all over League 1 forums this time last season...
No doubt. But as you know it's no easy task to plough through the division. I feel they will have a reality check.I hope people are right about Wrexham, but I guarantee these kind of comments were all over League 2 clubs' forums two years ago and all over League 1 forums this time last season...
Easily is a bit optimistic. Look you might be right, they might do well for a while or kick on but just because they have fame and presence doesnt mean they will walk into the top half. They will make a significant number of signings, which will transform their prospects. I'm not worried about the fame or presence, although those factors may help to swing a deal where the player has multiple options. It's the amount of money that have to spend. They've shown they're happy to spend on players and have clearly done a good job on recruitment so far.Easily is a bit optimistic. Valid points. And we never know. But flashing the cash at championship table doesn't always mean success. I don't need to tell you or anyone else that. Yes, it helps but there is no way Wrexham will storm through the top of the table. I have 0 doubt the papers on all those related to wrexham will be gushing on day 1 if they win first match by x amount of goals and at top of the table. We as a club know what positivity can have, but I am not convinced their recruitment strategies can be a long term success. Ageing players will get you so far, but I don't see it being easy for them.I'm not worried about the fame or presence, although those factors may help to swing a deal where the player has multiple options. I'm shit at predictions and they count for nothing when the transfer window has barely opened, but my money today would go on them finishing just outside the playoffs.
He'd undoubtably get more game time here. If it comes down to wages we'll have no chance.Lots of highlights reels of Galbraith, all showing a very technically accomplished player. Started out as a 6 with Man U youth, also played as a 10. So could be an excellent utility player, although I imagine he'd be brought in initially to challenge Key at right back. If Sheffield United are serious I can't see us competing, unless we can offer a better career progression.
