Summer Transfer Window

Viptonik is a good player and is also very young (No where near his prime). Give him a string of games, a full pre-season and a style of play that doesn't flip flop and he will grab 15+ a season quite comfortably
I agree that he should improve for the reasons you've given but I'm not so sure about the 15+ goals per season. He needs to have his position challenged for sure.

Wish i had your optimism about him. To me he looks slow and laboured and does not anticipate things quickly. Sheehan likes to change our style depending on the opposition, so Vipotnik had better get used to it. His finishing against Plymouth was woeful, should have come away with the match ball, instead he came away with nothing to show for the chances presented to him.

Way I am seeing it with the squad and there will be question marks over certain players in this list.

Goalkeepers
Viguroux
Fisher

Right Back
Key
NEW PLAYER

Left Back
Tymon
NEW PLAYER

Centre Back
Cabango
2 x NEW PLAYER

We might see a 3rd centre half coming in who is capable of covering one of either right or left back so taking that number of new players down to 3 rather than 4.

Central Midfield
Fulton
Franco
Widell
Cooper
2 x NEW PLAYERS

Wingers
Ronald
Eom
Inoussa

Attacking Midfielders/No 10

Cullen
NEW PLAYER

I see that they will be all out for a holding midfielder plus another all action type midfielder. An option could be someone like Galbraith who can play as an holder and also cover at Right back.
I can see another attacking midfielder coming in and capable of playing more advanced both centrally and covering out wide.

Striker
Vipotnik
NEW STRIKER

I think we all know we need one and I could see Cullen acting as the 3rd option.

I can see Sam Parker, Congreve and Cotterill sticking around for the season unless loans turn up for them that are too good to turn down in favour of the club and players.

I see a big shift in trying to move on Yates,Mykolo,Ginnelly,Bianchini,Tjoe a On and a lot of others being loaned out especially younger players.

Eight new players on top of the two new ones?

In fairness, he played 2,090 minutes this season, which is a smidge over 23 games. Effectively, half the season. Doubling his tally for this year would have him at 14 goals already

Fair point. He clearly has a powerful shot on him, as his goal away to Derby demonstrated. He just needs a bit more finesse. Sometimes placement is all that's needed, especially if you're a few yards out. If he can add composure to his game he will be an asset.

It's a lot I know.
I did write up that a centre half or midfielder could cover a full back slot but I would say 7/8.

Given that we are losing
Christie
Delcroix
Darling(?)
O'Brien
Allen
Pedersen
Naughton

I won't include McLaughlin as I think Fisher would just step in to replace him.

Coupled with possible outgoings such as
Tjoe a On
Bianchini
Ginnelly

All from the squad we had at the end of the season, it's looking to be a busy summer.

Its hard to say that we are "losing" McLaughlin
It feels like a victory that his contract has expired

For me Vip has some issues.. example, against Oxford he was miles off the press and spent the whole first half chasing shadows. From the long ball he was looking at thier CB waiting to be clattered and backed out and also how many times did Tymon and Ronald get the ball fizzed across the 6 yard box with nobody on the end of it.

The Plymouth game was a shocker too. There is a player there but not sure how Sheehan best utilises him

Don't forget Fillip Lissah who I think will fill one of The CB places in the squad he is a VERY talented young player

What role do you think Bobby Wales will play
Winger or striker?

I didn't mention him although he is one of the youngster I think might benefit with a loan.
I wouldn't rule out him being the 4th choice centre half if a beneficial loan doesn't happen.
