Wasn't it Courtney Baker-Richardson? Correct me or wrong?

'' Courtney Baker-Richardson saw red just five minutes into his Football League debut after he was sent off for a challenge on James Meredith. That left the Swans having to dig deep at The Den''

Thats it, I remember he had a hyphen in his name
Old man memory lets me down sometimes!

Baker-Richardson signed when Potter was manager - a hard working front runner who didn't shy away from the physical side of the game and has had a decent career in League Two, with Newport last season.

Thats more than me, with most players I can at least point to a game and give evidence of the opinions I have formed and memorable moments from the matches they played for us.

But with Rhys its like I experienced a severe trauma in my past, my brain has scrubbed all memory of it from my mind to protect me from it
The mad thing is that he's still a Liverpool player.
He spent last year on loan at Morecambe in League 2, they were relegated...

Was that the game where Carter-Vickers got himself sent off like 3 minutes into his debut?
No, it was home v Blackburn, we were 1 up at HT (Obafemi) and Manning got a second yellow early in 2nd half and the rest of the game was backs to the wall stuff but we held on with Bennett and Cabango outstanding .

Remember this was Fisher's debut and I thought we'd made a real coup of a signing

Which perfectly illustrates how easy it is to be excited by new signings, when in reality we have little idea how things are going to turn out. I'm as guilty as any in that regard. At least with the new setup it seems we have a proper recruitment setup in place, with competent individuals, such as Montague, with a track record. But ultimately the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

I completely missed the Myk news yesterday.
One very odd signing. Never looked like fitting in here.
Wish him all the best but that type of disaster signing simply can't happen anymore.

If we're lucky enough to shift Yates on as well, and by all accounts there is interest, I suspect we'll manage to get a similar fee for him that we did for Myk.
Still represents a big loss best for all to shift him on.

We'll get more for Yates than Myko, he's proven to be a decent enough striker at this level. Did pretty well at Derby last season, could see a new team making a punt on him for £1m+

Can you remember when a £1m player bought you some serious quality like Trevor Francis, Andy Gray or Bryan Robson !!

Does anyone know who Swansea's first £1m player was?

I suspect Vips time will bear similarities
