Swans target French winger Mvuka for late January deal

The only problem is that 5 at the back has gone out of fashion these days. I don't even know if anyone plays it in the Championship or Prem.

It's not even just Vipotnik. Bianchini doesn't get the service he needs because the ball is simply too slow coming through midfield. A quick pass through the defence for him to get onto would be more beneficial than the way we do play to him.

If they're played right the forwards don't concern me as much as the midfield does. As much as I think Fulton has carried most of the blame for how we play when he's paired with Grimes, it's really only Franco who stands out these days.

Maybe shifting MPH into the middle gives us an extra body, we still need more there.
Yes, we have two different types of striker in those two and the fact that they are both struggling indicates to me that it is the style of play not creating quality chances that is the problem.

The only pattern of play I've noticed recently (other than hit and hope crosses) has been the wide players playing the ball in low to around the penalty spot for Cullen to shoot. It led to a few goals for him in December but it seems to have stopped again now.

Maybe it took Williams 12 months to come up with that tactic and he's currently working on another one, ready to be unleashed over the Christmas period

I wouldn't have Eom in there, id have Bianchini
Fair shout, I like Eom and Bianchini more than most, but they're very different. Bianchini doesn't have the creativity that Eom occasionally shows, whereas Eom doesn't have that pace in behind, nor is he as direct.

Ive just seen more glimpses in Binachini than Eom so far. The styles I agree with you on, I think there could be a player in both of them, neither are suited for the slow build up play we're seeing atm though.

Id much rather play Eom in a deeper role than out wide. One thing he CAN do is keep the ball.

This is how I'd line up:
Ronald - Vip - Bianchini
Tymon - Franco - Cullen
Key - Bango - Delcroix - Parker
Vig

With Peart Harris and Allen to come on later if midfield not working. Other subs: Naughton, Christie, Eom, Fulton, Jock the Drop

Poor Franco would have his work cut out for him in that team :ROFLMAO:
