• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Can't disagree with that but this is the market we are in.
It's not a bad market to be in but we are clearly not great at picking out the good products.
It all boils down to the recruitment dept, we've done it before when we were in league 1 on the rise. Great scouting and recruiting paired with very good managers. Surely this must be our blue print now.

At 66 years of age we'd better limit the contract to 9 years. 😉😂

WOW WOW WOW !!!
I cant believe we've got such a great player as this. surely teams up and down the league will fear us now. I mean hes a winger with great stats.
11 goals in 107 games, that means in the remaining 15 or so games we can expect 1. goal between now and the end of the season, with a strike rate of 1 goal every 10.7 games. This is 4 goals per season.
Well no doubt Luke has bent the ear of Coleman and insisted this is the man to fire swansea up the league and to win promotion next season.
Yes, to promotion from league 1 via the play off's that's if we avoid L Orient !!!

Nathan Dyer had a return of 1 goal every 21.5 games. scoring a massive 2 goals per season in the first 2 of our championship seasons with him..... and yet i'd love a player in the mold of Dyer Signed right now.

He's obviously scum on the wind up

we have more wingers ( useless as some of them are ) and besides cullen we have not got a decent striker. we need strikers . but why I bother replying to you i have yet to figure out as your a low life
Cullen a decent striker? Now I know you're a wind up 🤣

It's not even just Vipotnik. Bianchini doesn't get the service he needs because the ball is simply too slow coming through midfield. A quick pass through the defence for him to get onto would be more beneficial than the way we do play to him.

If they're played right the forwards don't concern me as much as the midfield does. As much as I think Fulton has carried most of the blame for how we play when he's paired with Grimes, it's really only Franco who stands out these days.

Maybe shifting MPH into the middle gives us an extra body, we still need more there.

As it stands, the clear lineup for me is a three at the back. We're down a midfielder (irregardless of your thoughts, Grimes played every minute and was a more than capable player at this level), and unsure if anyone will be brought in.

If so, we could lineup with something like:

Vig

Key / Darling / Cabango / Delcroix / Tymon

Franco / MPH

Ronald / Cullen / Eom -> Maybe Vip for Cullen, maybe Bianchini in there somewhere

The balls would/should/could come forward from Key and Tymon as much as from midfield, and seeing as we lack a playmaker, that feels nearly essential now.

Alternatively, you could play Eom at 10, and Vip up front with Cullen, but you're sacrificing the workrate of Ronald by not having any wingers.

I wouldn't have Eom in there, id have Bianchini
